au volet Communautés désignées de Vers un chez-soi.</span></a><span lang="FR-CA" style="color:#212121">

<p class="MsoNormal"><a name="lt_pId002"><span lang="FR-CA" style="color:#212121">Le gouvernement du Canada choisira les nouvelles communautés au terme d’un processus de sollicitation en deux étapes, dont la</span></a><a name="lt_pId003"></a><span style="mso-bookmark:lt_pId003"><span lang="FR-CA" style="color:#212121">
première consistera en un appel d’énoncés de projet, ouvert et transparent, qui a été lancé le 1er février 2019.</span></span><span lang="FR-CA" style="color:#212121">
<a name="lt_pId004">Cet appel s’adresse aux collectivités de 25 000 habitants ou plus selon le Recensement de 2016 à l’extérieur du Québec et des territoires, compte tenu des modèles uniques de prestation de programmes qui seront utilisés dans ces régions.</a>
<a name="lt_pId005">Pour participer, les communautés sont invitées à présenter une demande démontrant qu’elles ont besoin des aides du gouvernement fédéral afin de lutter contre l’itinérance.</a>
<a name="lt_pId006">Elles sont encouragées à soumettre chacune un seul énoncé de projet.</a>
<a name="lt_pId007">La demande peut être faite par une municipalité ou un organisme sans but lucratif au nom de la collectivité.</a>

la sélection annuelle des lauréats des Prix pour le bénévolat du Canada, en examinant les candidatures et en formulant des recommandations à la lumière des candidatures les mieux cotées.

Nous sommes à la recherche de 15 nouveaux</span><span lang="FR"> membres du </span>
<span lang="FR-CA">Comité consultatif national</span><span lang="FR-CA"> </span><span lang="FR-CA">de partout au Canada qui sont passionnés par le bénévolat et qui croient en la différence positive que les individus et les organisations peuvent apporter dans
leurs communautés. Les membres seront sélectionnés en fonction de leur expérience de travail ou de bénévolat dans le secteur sans but lucratif, le secteur du bénévolat et le secteur privé. Le Comité consultatif national des Prix pour le bénévolat du Canada
représente fièrement la diversité culturelle, linguistique et régionale du Canada. Ceux choisis pour être membres du C</span><span lang="FR">omité consultatif national c</span><span lang="FR-CA">onseilleront et aideront le ministre de la Famille, des Enfants
et du Développement social du ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social (EDSC) sur toutes les questions relatives à la sélection des lauréats des prix pour 2019, 2020 et 2021. Ils participeront également à la promotion du programme pendant leur mandat.

</span></b>On November 5, 2018, the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children, and Social Development announced that the Designated Communities Stream of Reaching Home will be expanded by up to four to six new communities.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-bookmark:ISH">The Government of Canada will select the new communities through a two-step solicitation process. The first step is an open and transparent Call for Concepts, which launched on February 1, 2019.
</span><span style="mso-bookmark:ISH">This Call for Concepts is open to communities with a population size of 25,000 or over based on Census 2016, outside of Quebec and the territories, given the unique program delivery models that will be employed in these
regions. To participate, communities are invited to submit an application demonstrating their community’s need for homelessness funding from the federal government. Communities are encouraged to submit one concept per community. The application can be submitted
by a municipality or non-profit on behalf of the community.<br>

maintain an inventory of housing units and a list of landlords. The information gathered through this software can help communities manage vacancy and rental information regarding housing. In addition, the information collected through HIFIS can also be used
for housing community reports. To access <br>
the HIFIS Housing feature, please follow the following steps:<br>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent:-18.0pt"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">3. Select “Add Housing Unit” at the bottom of the page<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent:-18.0pt"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">4. Enter the information related to housing unit (note that a landlord must already be entered in the system to complete this field. This can be done under “Front Desk” >
“People”)<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent:-18.0pt"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">5. Click on the “Address Tab” to enter the address of the unit<o:p></o:p></span></p>

by reviewing nominations and making recommendations to the Minister of Families, Children and Social Development.<br>

We are looking for 15 new National Advisory Committee members from across Canada who are passionate about volunteering and believe in the positive difference that individuals and organizations can make in their communities. Members will be selected based on
their experience working or volunteering in the not-for-profit, voluntary and business sectors. The Canada's Volunteer Awards' National Advisory Committee proudly represents Canada's cultural, linguistic and regional diversity. Those selected to be National
Advisory Committee members will advise and assist the Minister of Families, Children and Social Development at the Department of Employment and Social Development (ESDC) on all matters relating to the selection of award recipients for 2019, 2020 and 2021.
They will also support the promotion of the program throughout their term. ESDC is accepting applications from January 14th to February 15th, 2019. The application and selection process will proceed as follows:<br>
