<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Through this REOI, the City of Ottawa’s Housing Services Branch is seeking an
</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">eligible housing provider with whom to partner on a proposal to the National Housing Strategy’s
<i>Federal Lands Initiative (FLI) </i>for Wateridge Village. </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="Default"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:windowtext"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="Default"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:windowtext">The Federal government has declared Block 21 of Wateridge Village surplus and released it for acquisition. The property consists of one block of vacant land in the new development located on the
former site of Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Rockcliffe in Ottawa, Ontario. City of Ottawa Housing Services is planning to submit a proposal for the acquisition of this property for the development of affordable housing and is seeking a development partner in
order to submit a joint application. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="Default"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:windowtext"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The successful Proponent will be required to sign a pre-development agreement with the City, the terms and requirements of which are outlined in the REOI.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The City must submit proposals to the Federal Lands Initiative by
<b>May 13<sup>th</sup>. The City is therefore seeking a partner willing to work quickly to complete a comprehensive proposal for the beginning of May.<o:p></o:p></b></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Should the proposal to CMHC be successful, the City and Proponent shall commence immediately on pre-development activities and begin an RFP process to select one or more partner
proponents for the development. the proponent(s) for this development will be eligible,
<b>subject to Council Approval,</b> for capital funding and incentives, as detailed in the REOI.

partenariat et soumettre une proposition pour Village des Riverains, dans le cadre de l’Initiative des terrains fédéraux de la Stratégie nationale sur le logement.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="Default"><span lang="FR-CA" style="color:windowtext">Le gouvernement fédéral a désigné le bloc 21 de Village des Riverains comme terrain excédentaire et l’a rendu disponible pour acquisition. Il s’agit d’un quadrilatère vacant situé dans le nouveau
secteur d’aménagement, sur l’ancienne base des Forces canadiennes Rockcliffe à Ottawa (Ontario). Les Services du logement de la Ville d’Ottawa prévoient soumettre une proposition pour l’acquisition de ce terrain dans le but d’y construire des logements abordables,
et souhaitent trouver un partenaire avec qui faire cette proposition.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="Default"><span lang="FR-CA" style="color:windowtext"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="FR-CA" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Le fournisseur choisi devra signer une entente d’aménagement préliminaire avec la Ville d’Ottawa. Les conditions de l’entente sont décrites dans la DMI.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<b>13 mai.</b> <b>Elle recherche donc un partenaire disposé à travailler rapidement pour élaborer une proposition complète d’ici le début mai.<o:p></o:p></b></span></p>
