<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">Good morning everyone. The purpose of this email is to provide you with an update <span style="background:white">on the Dempsey Community Centre.</span></span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;border:none windowtext 1.0pt;padding:0in">Cornerstone Housing for Women will be moving back to their permanent location at 172 O'Connor, estimated by end of December 2021. With physical
distancing guidelines still in place, the Dempsey Community Centre will re-open on November 24 and will operate as a temporary physical distancing centre for women, supporting our partners and ensuring adequate capacity for women in the shelter system. The
Dempsey <span class="xxxxxmarkxr9k32k4q">Physical Distancing Centre (PDC)</span> will continue to be operated by the City of Ottawa with services transitioning back to the community back in March 2022. </span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">We have been working closely with our partners at Cornerstone Housing for Women to support the move of approximately 48 women from Heron Rd to the Dempsey <span class="xxxxxmarkxr9k32k4q">PDC</span> on
November 24 as well as support standing down the Heron Rd site and moving women back to 172 O'Connor estimated by the end of December 2021. Date is to be finalized with Recreation, Cultural and Facilities Services (RCFS). </span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">The HNCC will use the coming months to continue to work collaboratively with our community partners, including ongoing consultation with Ottawa Public Health <span style="background:white">to
develop a recovery and sustainability plan that will help address any gaps that may not be accommodated within our existing community services and will include new ways of providing services to residents in need.</span></span><o:p></o:p></p>

selon les estimations. Comme les consignes de distanciation physique sont toujours en vigueur, le Centre communautaire Dempsey rouvrira le 24 novembre et agira comme centre temporaire de distanciation physique pour femmes afin de soutenir nos partenaires et
d’assurer le maintien d’une capacité d’accueil adéquate dans le système de refuges pour femmes. Le Centre de distanciation physique Dempsey<span class="xmarkxr9k32k4q"> (CDP) demeurera exploité par la Ville d’</span>Ottawa et la transition de cette responsabilité
vers les services communautaires aura lieu en mars 2022.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style="background:white"><span lang="FR-CA" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">Nous avons travaillé en étroite collaboration avec nos partenaires de Cornerstone Housing for Women pour soutenir le déménagement d’environ 48 femmes
du ch. Heron au CDP Dempsey le 24 novembre, de même que pour soutenir la fermeture du site du ch. Heron et le retour des femmes au 172 O’Connor d’ici la fin décembre 2021, selon les estimations. La date précise sera déterminée en consultation avec la Direction
