Clean Nova Scotia is growing! We require the following:

Certified Energy Advisor
Clean Nova Scotia is accepting applications for the position of Certified Energy Advisor in Halifax Regional Municipality. 
Candidates will have proven knowledge and skills in the following areas.
. building construction practices;
. building materials (insulation types, sealants, etc.);
. energy efficient appliances;
. building science, including the principles of the "house as a system;"
. use of computers, modems, the Internet and e-mail;
. basic arithmetic and geometry;
. client relations (writing and oral customer service skills)
. blueprint reading.
Candidates must have a computer, printer, Internet at home, access to a vehicle, and be willing to work some evening and Saturday appointments.

Office Assistant
Clean Nova Scotia is looking for a highly organized individual to perform a variety of duties to support program staff. Duties will include data input, appointment booking, large mail-outs, assistance with reports and funding applications, research, reception, supplies, etc. Qualifications include attention to detail, great organizational skills, strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, etc), pleasant phone manner, and ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve. An administrative assistant course or equivalent is required. Environmental knowledge is an asset.
