Hasta Siempre: Will the Revolution Survive Tomorrow? is timely and powerful 
documentary that asks the question: Can the Cuban Revolution survive the 
death of Fidel Castro? While President Castro continues his strong recover, 
the question posed by Hasta Siempre continues to preoccupy many Cuba 
watchers.

Hasta Siempre takes the viewer on a journey though the lives of ordinary 
Cubans, exploring the results of the Cuban Revolution. It looks not only at 
the successes and shortcomings of the Revolution, but also, explores the 
difficutlies of contructing a new society based on social justice, equality 
and human dignity when surrounded by a sea of capitalism, faced with 
unrelenting U.S. hostility, and confronting the legacy of hundreds oy years 
of colonial and neo-colonial domination. It focuses on the problems and 
challenges that emerged and were exacerbated by the massive econonmic crsis 
of the 1990s. It explores race & racism, tourism and other issues.
