Oxfam Canada's 12th Annual Hunger Banquet

Looking for a meal with a message? Like poverty, global hunger is a food
lottery that depends on who you are and where you live in the world. And
with changing weather and increasing demand for biofuels, food shortages are
getting worse and hitting the poor hardest.

World Food Day brings attention to the 923 million people around the world
without enough to eat. Join us for a dramatization of inequitable
distribution of food and resources in today's world at our 12th annual
Hunger Banquet. The banquet features:

. Local solutions to climate change and the food crisis

. Guest speakers- Fatima Naqvi, Sustainable Livelihoods Manager,
Pakistan & Marla McLeod, Ecology Action Centre

. Musical interludes with the Raging Grannies and friends

&

. Oxfam's Basket of Justice raffle

Come take a seat at the global dinner table!
