Friends, the Maritimes-Guatemala Breaking the Silence Network has a long
history of solidarity with both rural community development partners
(perma-culture organizations, small farmers, fair trade coffee, women's
coops) and human rights groups. We cannot maintain this work without
fundraising. We seek your support through attending this great musical
event next Tuesday night. We look forward to your presence!

"I will forever be touched by the courage, strength, and hope that these
people showed in circumstances that I suspect would overcome most of us if
our places were exchanged. They have been on a long journey searching for a
little justice and they deserve our help."
*--Lennie Gallant, PEI singer-songwriter, and contributor to "Singing
Solidarity," a CD to be launched in Halifax November 29*
