Chainsaw Maintenance and Use Workshop — Men and Women

August 18-20: Weekend chainsaw workshop for men and women with certified instructor Patrick Allan at the Harrison Lewis Centre. Come away able to safely wield this incredibly powerful, helpful – and potentially dangerous – tool. This is a hands-on workshop – far more than demonstration – where a maximum of eight participants learn by doing; saw operation and maintenance, from the basics to advanced techniques including directional felling. Bring your own safety boots (plus your own saw and safety gear if you have and wish to bring these. Otherwise all is provided). Class limited to eight.

Register soon. $325 covers tuition, a comfortable bed for two nights in one of four bunk houses, home-cooked meals, and an amazing opportunity to learn and apply skills presented by one of the best professional instructors – if not the best – in Canada. Read testimonial and register at www.HarrisonLewisCentre.org. For more information phone 902-646-1554. (PS: Live in the area or are on vacation? You may choose to stay home or park your partner or family at nearby Raddall Provincial Park or White Point Resort while attending workshop – inquire for details.)
