Position: Program Coordinator
Organization: Thinkwell Shift Inc
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

This key position has collaborative responsibility for the execution and successful operation of Thinkwell Shift programs. The position includes responsibilities assisting in project booking, program planning, training, and quality assurance. The Coordinator assists in the management of project responsibility such as engagement strategy, resource conservation, team management, and operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Director to deliver excellent program management and client service.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES may include supporting or managing the following:
• Program Execution/Implementation/Evaluation:
• Support and Direction to the Customer Advisors.
• Managing important databases
• Team management
• Inventory and Supplies
• Personnel
• Support with the recruitment, hiring, orientation and performance management of program team
• Assist in the supervising the program team day to day
• Collaborate with Program Manager to ensure consistency delivering engagements
• Meetings Logistics (Invites, Location, Content development, Travel Accommodation)
• Timesheets management
• Social Media
• Content Creation
• Content Curation
• Daily Operations
• Program Expenses Tracking and Direction
• Program Expenses
• Managing Team Communications (Phone Calls – Emails)
• Customer Service and booking
• Excellent customer service skills including but not limited to communication and problem-solving.
• Excellent phone skills
• Desire the be the best part of your client/customer’s day.
• Budgetary Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of the program budget
• Work with Program Manager to resolve budget issues and discrepancies.
• Analyze monthly financial information as provided by the Operations Manager and adjust planning as appropriate.
• Utilize financial information to plan or modify Engagement Officers school engagements

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor Degree in relevant field (i.e. Environmental education, business) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Interest in energy efficiency an asset
• Strong interpersonal, relationship building and conflict resolution skills.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral, written, analytical and technical skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to determine priorities, be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Google business platform
• Strong leadership and team-oriented skills.

PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:

The performance criteria shall include factors related to the tasks set out in the position description, annual major objectives, and special assignments. Work output will be measured in outcomes and positive results, not hours spent.
