face="Times New Roman">The Ecology Action Centre (EAC) was established in 1971
and is <st1:State><st1:place>Nova Scotia</st1:place></st1:State>’s largest and
most active environmental organization. We have recently completed the first
phase of a green renovation on our new home in
<st1:City><st1:place>Halifax</st1:place></st1:City>’s North End. This space is
the first working demonstration of a green office renovation in
<st1:State><st1:place>Nova Scotia</st1:place></st1:State> and is receiving
considerable attention from the media and the public. Plus, it’s a fantastic
place to work. The Green Home Tours Coordinator will have responsibility for
creating and implementing a program of on-site and web-based tours designed to
encourage the public to make energy efficiency improvements in their
homes.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>

environmental organization on an exciting new project. Candidates should have
excellent public education skills, an ability to work independently, and an
understanding of green renovation and energy issues. Excellent communication
skills and a commitment to the environment are also required. Experience working
at or developing materials for public education institutions such as museums,
interpretative centres, or parks would bean asset. Technical knowledge of solar
energy, energy conservation, or the building industry would also be an
