Type: Paid, full-time position<br />
Duration: Mid-April/early May to end of October<br />

Waldegrave Farm is a certified organic vegetable farm located in Tatamagouche, NS. The farm is located on a 100 acre piece of land held in trust by the Tatamagouche Community Land Trust. We cultivate approximately 4 acres in rotation of vegetables and green manures. We are committed to providing high quality, organic produce according to ecologically responsible principles and practices, working to build and maintain the soil and local ecosystems. We grow a diversity of field and greenhouse crops which are marketed through a Community Supported Agriculture program (CSA), the Halifax Farmers Market and wholesale markets.<br />
<br />
We are looking for a motivated, hard-working individual, ideally with some farm experience. Valid driver's license (and experience) is necessary. Tasks include bed preparation, seeding, planting, weeding, harvesting, washing, packing, selling at farmers market, CSA delivery, participating in greenhouse and field management and working with apprentices in field. Though experience is an asset, training will be provided and all aspects of our farm business will be made available for learning purposes.<br />
