Flex-time Contracts - March 25th to July 31st, 2015 (with option to extend)<br />

Rate of Pay: $15-17 hour + Mileage + Bonus Incentives<br />

Locations: Halifax Regional Municipality with occasional long distance travel within Nova Scotia <br />
<br />
Number of positions available 11 part time<br />

Summerhill is dedicated todeveloping, implementing and managing public engagement and market transformation programs that lead to measurable improvements in energy savings.<br />
<br />
We are currently seeking outgoing, energetic and dynamic individuals to join our team as:<br />
Field Ambassadors or Team Leads for the Rental Properties and Condos (RP&C) and Residential Direct Installation of Efficient Products program (RDIEP) in Halifax, Nova Scotia.<br />
<br />
Employees will work independently or in teams in a designated geographical area, with some long distance travel required occasionally. Full paid training will be provided prior to the program start date. Employees will be compensated mileage at a rate of $0.48 per km to cover cost for travel during program hours.<br />
<br />
Training & event Schedule <br />
<br />
In-person Training: March 25th March 27th and March 30-31st<br />
<br />
Training Location: Summerhill Halifax Office 1329 Barrington Street, Suite 201<br />
<br />
Program Dates: March 25th to July 31st<br />
<br />
Hours: Flexible work schedule - Applicants must be available Monday to Saturday, 9am to 9pm and on Sundays on specific request . Full Time 24-40 hours/ week; Part Time 4-24 hours/week. Scheduling based on demand. All attempts will be made to keep all teams as busy as possible for as long as possible.<br />
<br />
Responsibilities:<br />
Visit residential homes, rental properties and condos to install energy efficient products<br />
Actively engage in creating a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers<br />
Data and inventory management<br />
Commit to fulfilling fluctuating work demands<br />
Occasional long distance travel (mileage paid)<br />
Educate residents on energy efficiency<br />
Inform residents about ENS and other available programs<br />
Assisting Community Engagement Coordinator with recruitment activities (RDIEP)<br />
<br />
Qualifications/Job Requirements:<br />
Access to a reliable vehicle to use for the duration of the program<br />
Physically fit and able to remain active for the duration of all shifts<br />
Have a friendly and professional manner and appearance; comfortable with entering residential homes<br />
Be comfortable with the installation of various products such as LEDs and energy efficient water measures (full training provided)<br />
Sales experience is a plus<br />
Possess a background in environmental field, or have a strong interest in energy conservation<br />
Outgoing and positive personality<br />
Detail-oriented, punctual, conscientious, reliable and able to work independently<br />
Access to a computer with the internet access and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and email to complete daily communication<br />
Ability to use a provided tablet<br />
