Organization: Nature NB <br />
Location: Fredericton, New Brunswick<br />
<br />
Nature NB is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mission is to celebrate, conserve and protect New Brunswick's natural heritage through education, networking and collaboration.<br />
<br />
Nature NB is currently seeking a Bilingual Stewardship Coordinator to manage our various stewardship initiatives. These initiatives include PlantWatch, the Biodiversity Stewardship Program, the Important Birds Areas program as well as other citizen science programs.<br />
<br />
Responsibilities will include:<br />
Recruiting and managing volunteers<br />
Developing stewardship strategy<br />
Organizing and leading field trips<br />
Developing partnerships with other ENGOs<br />
Creating and delivery outreach programs8<br />
Development of promotional and communications materials<br />
<br />
Applicant requirements<br />
Bilingual<br />
Between 18-29 years old<br />
Under or unemployed<br />
Degree in Communications or Environmental Sciences/biology or related experience<br />
Valid Drivers licence<br />
Strong communication skills<br />
Strong organizational skills<br />
Competent with general computer tasks (excel, word, powerpoint) and internet usage<br />
