Canadian women and men—especially youth—to learn more about and contribute actively to international development. IDW also highlights what Canada and Canadians are doing to make a better world. It was first created by Global Affairs Canada.

For many Canadians, as global citizens, this will be an opportunity to talk about what they have done to help reduce poverty in the world. Since its inception in 1991, IDW has been held during the first full week of February. This year,
we are focusing on Agenda 2030 and the SDGs, looking specifically at Goal #5 – Gender Equality. http://bit.ly/IDW2017
