Cabot Shores Wilderness Resort is an eco-friendly resort located on Cape Breton Island with unique accommodations such as yurts, geodesic domes, family sized cabins, lodge rooms and more. Maintenance Staff job description:<br />
• Maintenance of grounds (lawn mowing, trail maintenance and more)<br />
• Small repairs<br />
• Maintenance and cleaning of hot tubs<br />
• Garbage & Recycling<br />
• Knowledge of use of hand tools<br />
• Moving furniture and other large objects<br />
• Assisting with building projects, paint jobs<br />
• Wood cutting, splitting, stacking, safe use of chain saw desired<br />
• Good verbal communication skills<br />
• Willing to work outdoors regardless of weather<br />
• Organized, self-directed<br />
• Maintain an organized tools and shop area<br />
• Ability to diagnose maintenance problems and be able to fix or refer to appropriate trades person (carpenter, electrician, plumber)<br />
<br />
Salary: Starts at $12/hour. Some onsite housing is available.<br />
<br />
Start date: Mid-June 2017, <br />
End date: Mid-October (may be part time in September & October)<br />
