PROGRAM COORDINATOR<br />
<br />
SUMMARY STATEMENT:<br />
<br />
This key position has collaborative responsibility for the execution and successful operation of Thinkwell Shift programs, including but not limited to Green Schools Nova Scotia. The position includes responsibilities assisting in program planning, engagement officers training, and partnership management. The Coordinator assists in the management of project responsibly such as engagement strategy, resource conservation, team management, and operations.<br />
<br />
He/she will work closely with the Director and the Project Manager to deliver excellent program management and client service.<br />
<br />
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES may include supporting or managing the following:<br />
Program Execution/Implementation/Evaluation:<br />
Support and Direction to Engagement Officers:<br />
Managing important databases<br />
Resource creation and management<br />
School Support<br />
Communication (Stories, Social Media, Photos)<br />
Team management<br />
Inventory and Supplies<br />
Personnel<br />
Support with the recruitment, hiring, orientation and performance management of program team<br />
Assist in the supervising the program team day to day<br />
Collaborate with Program Manager to ensure consistency delivering engagements<br />
Meetings Logistics (Invites, Location, Content development, Travel Accommodation<br />
Social Media<br />
Content Creation<br />
Content Curation<br />
Audience Engagement<br />
Analytics<br />
Daily Operations<br />
Program Expenses Tracking and Direction<br />
Timesheets management<br />
Program Expenses<br />
Managing Team Communications (Phone Calls Emails)<br />
Customer Service<br />
Excellent customer service skills including but not limited to communication and problem-solving.<br />

Budgetary Responsibilities:<br />
Assist in the development of the program budget<br />
Work with Program Manager to resolve budget issues and discrepancies.<br />
Analyze monthly financial information as provided by the Operations Manager and adjust planning as appropriate.<br />
Utilize financial information to plan or modify Engagement Officers school engagements<br />
<br />
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:<br />
Degree in relevant field (i.e. Environmental education, business) or equivalent.<br />
Demonstrated experience in an entrepreneurial environment.<br />
Interest in energy efficiency an asset<br />
Strong interpersonal, relationship building and conflict resolution skills.<br />
Creative problem-solving skills.<br />
Excellent oral, written, analytical and technical skills.<br />
Strong organizational and planning skills.<br />
Ability to determine priorities, be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.<br />
Proficient in a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Google business platform<br />
Strong leadership and team-oriented skills.<br />

PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:<br />
<br />
The performance criteria shall include factors related to the tasks set out in the position description, annual major objectives, and special assignments. Work output will be measured in outcomes and positive results, not hours spent.<br />
