Position: Green Gala Coordinator<br />
Terms: p/t, now until end of semester, $500 honorarium<br />

<br />
Request for Applications: DSUSO Green Gala Commissioner<br />
<br />
The Green Gala Commissioner is responsible for coordinating DSUSO’s annual Green Gala. The green gala is an annual event celebrating individual and collective achievements in sustainability-related areas. With the support of the DSUSO Steering Committee and Volunteers, the commissioner will need to begin work immediately in preparation for the April event.<br />
<br />
Responsibilities include: <br />
• Booking a venue and coordinating refreshments<br />
• Coordinating nomination process and sending invitations<br />
• Marketing event to the student body<br />
• Arranging IT and security services for the event<br />
• Overseeing set-up and take-down of event<br />
<br />
Qualified applicants should: <br />
• be a member of the Dalhousie Student Union?<br />
• have proven experience with event management<br />
• be able to work independently and while coordinating a team<br />
• have experience working within a confined budget<br />
<br />
Position Summary: <br />
• the successful applicant should be prepared to begin work immediately and the position will continue until the end of the Winter Semester<br />
• the position reports to the DSUSO Internal and External Directors<br />
• The commissioner is expected to submit a final report after the event<br />
• this position will be paid an honorarium of $500<br />
<br />
