Position: Chef and Food Specialist<br />
Type: f/t 40 hrs/week, March to November, potential for extension<br />
Organization: Ross Creek Centre for the Arts (CoastArts Association)<br />
Location: Canning, Nova Scotia<br />

The Ross Creek Centre for the Arts is looking for a full-time intern who has a degree in a STEM related field or another program (College or University) that relates to food, environmental education or issues.<br />
<br />
If you love idea of helping make the centre more sustainable in its food production, creating fabulous meals for artists from around the world and kids from down the road, preserving and canning, mentoring kids in the love of cooking, leading workshops in cooking and baking for our local community and more, this is the job for you!<br />

Eligibility:<br />
<br />
This position is funded by ECO Canada and as such, all candidates MUST:<br />
• Have a Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field<br />
• be 30 years of age or younger<br />
• be eligible to work in Canada and a Canadian citizen, landed immigrant, or refugee status<br />
• have graduated from a post-secondary institution<br />
• Be able to work in a full-time, permanent position<br />
• Be unemployed or under employed<br />
• Have not participated previously in a federal youth employment or education program<br />
