Background<br />
<br />
The New Brunswick Food Security Action Network (NBFSAN) envisions a New Brunswick that is informed, connected, and engaged in food security for all. One way in which the NBFSAN achieves this vision is by administering the Community Food Mentor (CFM) Program. Developed in 2011, the CFM Program is now ready for redevelopment in order to best serve its mandate.<br />
<br />
The Goal of the CFM Program is to develop a network of dedicated food mentors in New Brunswick communities through a shared learning experience that will increase the exchange of information on food skills, healthy eating practices and local food sourcing in the province.<br />
<br />
Description of the work:<br />
<br />
The NBFSAN is seeking a self-directed, professional consultant to implement the CFM Program redevelopment plan as was approved by the CFM Program Advisory Committee. The preferred candidate will have exceptional written communications skills and a knack for strategic project organization.<br />
<br />
The scope of work includes: 1) revising the program materials; and 2) developing a comprehensive infrastructure to support the CFM Program on an ongoing basis.<br />
<br />
Deliverables:<br />
<br />
1 – Revised CFM materials and documents, including:<br />
<br />
a. Coordinator Manual<br />
b. Training evaluation form for participants<br />
c. Program evaluation form for coordinators<br />
d. Graduation Criteria and Package<br />
e. Resource Library and CFM Directory on website<br />
<br />
2 – Infrastructure and clear processes in place to support the CFM Program<br />
<br />
a. Evaluations are submitted to NBFSAN<br />
b. Graduation request forms are submitted to NBFSAN<br />
c. NBFSAN website hosts new materials and CFM Directory<br />
d. Regular sharing opportunities for CFMs are in place<br />
<br />
The contractor will be directly supervised by the Network Director and will work in collaboration with members of the CFM Advisory Committee.<br />

Qualifications:<br />
• Exceptional written communication skills<br />
• Thoroughness and attention to detail<br />
• Strategic thinking and organizational management skills<br />
• Experience in project management<br />
• Topical expertise in food security<br />
• Technical expertise with website content creation<br />
• Ability to establish and maintain focus while managing a process of change<br />
• Excellent time management skills and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines<br />
• Bilingualism is an asset<br />

Contexte<br />
<br />
Le Réseau d’action sur la sécurité alimentaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (RASANB) imagine un Nouveau-Brunswick interrelié, bien informé et engagé envers la sécurité alimentaire pour toutes et tous. Parmi les outils qu’il utilise pour concrétiser cette vision, le RASANB administre le Programme des mentors communautaires en alimentation (MCA). Établi en 2011, ce programme est maintenant prêt à être réaménagé afin de mieux accomplir son mandat.<br />
<br />
Le Programme des MCA a pour but de créer un réseau de mentors en alimentation dévoués dans les collectivités du Nouveau-Brunswick au moyen d’une expérience d’apprentissage commune qui augmentera l’échange d’information sur les compétences alimentaires, les pratiques de saine alimentation et l’approvisionnement en aliments locaux dans la province.<br />

Description du travail à accomplir<br />
<br />
Le RASANB est à la recherche d’un expert-conseil professionnel et autonome pour mettre en oeuvre le plan de réaménagement du Programme des MCA qui a été approuvé par le comité consultatif chargé du dossier. La personne retenue aura des compétences exceptionnelles en communication écrite et un talent particulier pour l’organisation stratégique de projets.<br />
<br />
Le mandat comprend (1) la révision des documents associés au Programme des MCA et (2) la conception d’une infrastructure pouvant appuyer le programme de façon permanente.<br />
<br />
Résultats attendus<br />
<br />
1- Révision des documents et ouvrages, notamment :<br />
<br />
a. Manuel du coordonnateur<br />
b. Formulaire d’évaluation de la formation par les participants<br />
c. Formulaire d’évaluation du programme par les coordonnateurs<br />
d. Critères et trousse de diplomation<br />
e. Ressources et répertoire des MCA sur le site Web<br />
<br />
2- Mise en place d’une infrastructure et d’un ensemble de processus clairs pour appuyer le Programme des MCA<br />
<br />
a. Évaluations soumises au RASANB<br />
b. Formulaires de demande de diplomation soumis au RASANB<br />
c. Nouvelle documentation et nouveau répertoire des MCA hébergés sur le site Web<br />
d. Mise en place de possibilités d’échanges régulières pour les MCA<br />
<br />
L’expert-conseil sera sous la supervision directe de la directrice du RASANB et collaborera avec les membres du comité consultatif du Programme des MCA.<br />

• Capacité de réflexion stratégique et compétences en gestion organisationnelle<br />
• Expérience en gestion de projets<br />
• Expertise spécialisée en sécurité alimentaire<br />
• Expertise technique en création de contenu Web<br />
• Capacité à établir et à maintenir une orientation claire tout en gérant un processus de changement<br />
• Excellentes compétences en gestion du temps et capacité éprouvée à respecter les échéances<br />
• Le bilinguisme est un atout.<br />
