Organization: Green Party of New Brunswick<br />

Location: Fredericton, New Brunswick<br />

<br />

The Green Party of New Brunswick is seeking a motivated person for the position of Executive Director, who will oversee the day-to-day operations of a growing political organization.<br />

<br />

The successful applicant will have three or more years experience in financial management as well as management of staff in a work environment that requires adaptability.<br />

<br />

The successful candidate will:<br />

• be fluently bilingual;<br />

• have previous experience with fundraising, volunteer management and the creation and implementation of budgets;<br />

• have strong communications skills and be able to forge partnerships with external organizations, media representatives, and volunteers; and<br />

• have demonstrable competency with major social media platforms.<br />

<br />

The Executive Director is responsible for the growth of our membership and will assist regional volunteers in the identification and recruitment of new volunteers as well as potential candidates for future elections. In this role, experience with political data management programs such as Nationbuilder is a definite asset. Other desirable assets include experience with accounting software and other basic office management tools; familiarity with election financing regulations and reporting requirements; and understanding of the diversity of New Brunswick.<br />

<br />

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an understanding and acceptance of the fundamental values of the Green Party, and be able to articulate these to volunteers and members of the public.<br />

<br />

Regular office hours are Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5 PM but hours of work will vary and may require some evenings and weekends. Salary commensurate with skills and experience.<br />

Le Parti vert du Nouveau-Brunswick recherche une personne motivée pour remplir le poste de Directeur.trice exécutif.tive qui devra superviser les activités quotidiennes d'une organisation politique en pleine croissance.<br />

<br />

Le candidat retenu aura au moins trois ans d’expérience en gestion financière ainsi que la gestion du personnel dans un environnement de travail qui nécessite une adaptabilité.<br />

<br />

Les exigences du poste incluent: <br />

• être parfaitement bilingue;<br />

• une expérience antérieure de la collecte de fonds, de la gestion des bénévoles et de la création et mise en śuvre de budgets;<br />

• capable de démontrer de solides compétences en communication et être capable de nouer des partenariats avec des organisations externes, des représentants des médias et des volontaires; et<br />

• avoir compétence démontrable avec les principales plateformes de médias sociaux.<br />

<br />

Le ou la Directeur.trice exécutif.tive sera responsable de la croissance du nombre de membres et de bénévoles, et aider les bénévoles régionaux à identifier et recruter de nouveaux bénévoles ainsi que candidats potentiels pour les futures élections. Dans ce rôle, de l’expérience avec la base de données NationBuilder serait un atout. Autres atouts souhaitables: expérience des logiciels de comptabilité et des autres outils de gestion de bureau de base; bonne connaissance de la réglementation en matière de financement électoral et des exigences en matière de rapport; compréhension de la diversité du Nouveau-Brunswick.<br />

Le candidat retenu doit être en mesure de démontrer sa compréhension et son acceptation des les valeurs fondamentales du Parti vert et pouvoir les exprimer aux volontaires et aux membres du public.<br />

<br />

Les heures de travail varient et peuvent inclure de longues heures de temps à autre, ainsi que certains soirs et fins de semaine. Autrement, les heures normales de travail sont de 9h à 17h. Le salaire est à négocier.<br />
