Position: Farm Worker/Apprentice<br />
Organization: Cochrane Family Farm<br />
Location: Upper Stewiacke, Nova Scotia<br />
Elig.: must be unemployed<br />

Looking for Full Time apprentice(s)/farmer(s) from April 1st to November. - Possibility of employment extension.<br />
<br />
You must have a love for the land and sustainable agriculture, enjoy working and having fun while you work. First consideration given to those with prior experience. Must be unemployed. Room & board possible option.<br />
<br />
Work on a diverse 30 acre Certified organic farm that grows for markets, seed production, and culinary/medicinal herbal products.<br />
Must be good at record keeping, multitasking, taking initiative and able to work in various weather conditions. Able to work alone or in group setting, and help occasionally with markets, workshops, and on-farm events. Potential employee(s) need to be in good physical shape (able to lift up to 40lbs)<br />
