This summer, Wild Gift will select a group of "better world entrepreneurs" for a 12-month fellowship that includes mentoring, fundraising support, and wilderness-based programs that teach leadership and business skills while building a lifelong support network. <br />
<br />

<br />
If you are selected as a Wild Gift Fellow, you will receive:<br />
• a guided three week wilderness trek in the Idaho backcountry as well as a one week whitewater river rafting trip on the Salmon River in Idaho.<br />
• a $500 allowance for airfare to Idaho<br />
• project mentor(s) who will work with you throughout the course of your Fellowship, plus access to a pool of resource mentors to provide specific expertise when needed<br />
• opportunity to participate in Wild Gift alumni retreats and trips<br />
• lifetime membership in the vibrant Wild Gift Network that includes alumni, mentors, and supporters<br />
<br />
Eligible candidates should meet the following criteria:<br />
• U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or Canadian citizen<br />
• between the ages of 21 and 35 as of September 1, 2019<br />
• has started (or intends to start) a social venture that will lead to a better world<br />
• is interested in a wilderness-based leadership program that includes a 3-week backcountry trek (August 17 - September 8, 2019) and a 1-week whitewater river trip (TBA in September 2020)<br />
