The Clean Leadership Professional Internship program, proudly funded through Environment and Climate Change Canada’s Science Horizons Program, is a wage subsidy initiative to help graduates from college or university acquire work experience in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) positions with an environmental focus. Why be a paid intern?<br />
• Acquire skills, learning experiences, and opportunities needed to find and maintain employment, or return to school<br />
• Make a positive contribution to Canada’s green economy<br />
• Develop a career path focused specifically on environmental and sustainability issues<br />
<br />
Am I eligible?<br />
• Graduated from a post-secondary program in a STEM related field<br />
• No more than 30 years of age at the start of the internship<br />
• Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee status in Canada<br />
• Available to work for at least six months<br />
• Not currently employed as a paid employee at the host organization<br />
• Legally allowed to work according to the relevant provincial and Canadian legislation and regulations<br />
• Not receiving employment insurance during internship<br />

Le stage à temps plein du Clean Leadership Program est une initiative de subvention des salaires pour aider les diplômés à acquérir une expérience de travail dans les postes STIM (science, technologie, ingénierie ou mathématiques) axés sur l’environnement. Les stagiaires qualifiés sont:<br />
• Diplômés d'un programme postsecondaire<br />
• Pas plus de 30 ans au début du stage<br />
• Citoyens canadiens, résidents permanents ou personnes ayant obtenu le statut de réfugié au Canada<br />
• Disponible pour travailler pendant au moins 6 mois<br />
• Pas actuellement employé comme salarié dans l'organisation chef<br />
• Légalement autorisé à travailler conformément à la législation et aux règlements provinciaux et canadiens pertinents<br />
• Ne pas recevoir d'assurance-emploi pendant son stage<br />
