Needed: Watch for Wildlife — Event Volunteers<br />

Location: Seaforth, near Halifax, Nova Scotia<br />

We are seeking 2-4 volunteers to help with public education and awareness regarding our Watch for Wildlife program at the hugely popular Hope for Wildlife Open House, Sept. 10th in Seaforth, NS.<br />
<br />
Watch for Wildlife (watchforwildlife.ca) shares infromation with the public about the impacts of roadways on wildlife, and aims to educate people on ways they can act to prevent collisions. Over the years we have been fortunate to collaborate with Hope for Wildlife's animal rescue program, and particpating in the Open House is a great way to reach more people who love wildllife with this information.<br />
<br />
The Open House event takes place Sept. 10, 12-4 PM at 5909 Highway 207, Seaforth, NS. It is usually extremely well-attended, so early arriival for parking and set up would be required. We would also provide a 10-hour training session on performing outreach and key messages of the program. Volunteers will need to arrange transportation to the site, and are required to comply with our COVID prevention policies.<br />
