Resurgence Theatre Company Audition Notice

Resurgence Theatre Company is currently accepting submissions for the York
Shakespeare Festival 2002 at Fairy Lake Park in Newmarket, Ontario.  Under
the direction of Artistic Producer Anthony Leo and Artistic Director Lee
Wilson, the 2002 Festival has recently expanded to six weeks and will
feature William Shakespeare's ROMEO & JULIET and THE TEMPEST.  Both
productions will be directed by Chris Abraham.

Actors will be engaged under an Equity contract from June 17 to August 27,
2002.  The majority of the acting company will be performing in both shows,
which will run partially in repertory.

Opening Night for ROMEO & JULIET: July 19, 2002
Opening Night for THE TEMPEST: August 6, 2002

Auditions will be held in Toronto and Montreal at the end of January.
Contacted individuals should prepare two contrasting classical monologues.
Submissions should be sent to the address below no later than Monday,
January 7, 2002.
