1945. Broke radio station. Inept performers. A Shaw script. Yikes!
 
AUDITION
Looking for one male actor (25 to 65 years old)
 
Must have a "radio" voice
Must be able to do at least three distinct character voices Good improv
skills Great physical comedy
 
This is a production of Shaw's THE MILLIONAIRESS that takes place in a
third-rate 1940's radio station.
 
This show premiered in NYC January 2002: "[Mighty Brave] managed to
adapt a three hour Shaw play into 20 minutes of hilariousness--Shaw
would have been proud." --Natasha Stoynoff (People Magazine)
 
In Toronto the show will be performed at a studio at CIUT Radio. To
avoid confusion--this is a play set in a radio station, it is not in
fact a radio play Equity Co-op contract.
