CAEA Women's Committee Presents Its First National W.I.T.T. (Women In
Theatre Talk):

"How Much Are You Worth?"

Find out how to assert your worth - whether at an audition, signing a
contract, during rehearsal or a performance. Get tips on how to negotiate
the working arrangements you want and deserve from some high-powered
successful women.

Simultaneously occurring in three cities:

In Vancouver: Saturday May 4th 2 pm, at The Alliance for Arts & Culture
boardroom (938 Howe St.) with guest speakers: Jill Badger (past-president of
CUPE for the Western Division of Flight Attendants) and Connie Hardie
(Vancouver Talent Agent).

In Regina: Monday May 6th 7 pm, at The Globe Theatre (1801 Scarth St.) with
guest speakers: Beth Smillie (CUPE, Regina) and/or Aina Kagis (chair of Pay
Equity Saskatchewan and the  Saskatchewan Federation of Labour's Women's
Committee).

In Toronto: Monday May 6th 1-3 pm, at  Equity Showcase (651 Dufferin St.)
with guest speakers: Vinetta Strombergs (professional theatre coordinator,
Theatre Ontario), Colleen Blake (managing director, Shaw Festival), Alicia
Jeffery (theatre agent), Lynda Hill (artistic director, Theatre Direct
Canada), Alison Sealy-Smith (Toronto actor/artistic director, Obsidian
Theatre).
