The Richmond Gateway Theatre 2002-2003 Season - Auditions for "PUMP BOYS
AND DINETTES"

Howard Siegel, Director, and Tim Williams, Music Director, of Pump Boys
and Dinettes, invite interested performers who sing, read music and play
an instrument to submit resumes and photographs for consideration for an
audition.

Pump Boys and Dinettes is a country western revue with a cast of four
men and two women who play and sing all the tunes.  If you are in the
show, you are in the band.  Instrumentation includes, but is not limited
to, guitar, keyboards, fiddle, bass fiddle, accordion, harmonica and
percussion. Dance experience is an asset, though not essential.
Character age is not an issue.

Please submit packages by August 16th.  Mark your envelop:  "Pump Boys &
Dinettes", attention Simon Johnston, Artistic Producer.  Mail to:
Gateway Theatre, 6500 Gilbert Road, Richmond,  B.C.  V7C 3V4.  Those
requested to audition will be contacted in the last week of August.
Auditions will be held at Gateway Theatre, September 19 and 20, 2002.

Be sure to include details of musical and dance experience as well as
instruments played.

Pump Boys and Dinettes will begin rehearsal March 24, 2003.  The show
opens on April 11, 2003 and closes April 26, 2003 (possible holdover
till May 3rd).
