OPEN CASTING CALL FOR SINGERS AND DANCERS FOR THE
TORONTO PRODUCTION OF THE LION KING

We strongly encourage performers of all ethnicities and racial
backgrounds to attend this call.

Equity members will be seen first at these auditions.

SINGER AUDITIONS: Sat. January 26, 2002
WHERE: Telus Convention Centre - 120 - 9th Ave.
S.E., Calgary, Alberta MALE & FEMALE SINGERS:  Sign up
between 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.  Auditions to continue until everyone is seen.
Seeking
strong singers who move very well.  Late teens to mid-40's. It is
extremely helpful, but not necessary, to be able to sing in the South
African style.  Prepare one or two brief contemporary pop songs that
show off your voice and range.

DANCE AUDITIONS: Mon.  January 28, 2002
WHERE: Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, 1514 - 4th St. S.W., Calgary, Alberta

FEMALE auditions begin at 9:30 am sharp.  Sign up begins at 9:15 am.
MALE auditions begin at 1:30 pm sharp.  Sign up begins at 1:15 pm.

SINGERS & DANCERS must prepare one or two brief contemporary pop songs
that show off you voice and range.  Please bring sheet music.  A
pianist will be provided. NO THEATRE MUSIC.  PLEASE BRING A PHOTO
(SNAPSHOT) AND RESUME.
