There are still openings to audition for HONK!  HONK! will be part of 
Globe Theatre's 2002/2003 Season. Ruth Smillie will direct.  Ruth is 
auditioning in Vancouver July 28 and 29. The production dates are:

rehearsals:  October 15 to November 13, 2002
performances: November 14 to December 22, 2002

Artists of every culture are invited to auditon for the available roles:

Drake/Greylaw (actor in 30's - 40's)     Baritone or bass-baritone
Turkey/Barnacles/Bullfrog/Father Swan (30's-50's)     Bass-baritone
Maureen/Snowy/Queenie/Old Woman (30's-50's)     Soprano or high mezzo

Actors auditioning for HONK! will be asked to present one monologue (3 
to 5 minutes) and to sing.  Ruth requests that only actors with 
experience singing professionally in musicals or with advanced singing 
training book audition appointments.  Dance experience/training is an 
asset for this production.  The auditions will take place at Carousel 
Theatre, 1411 Cartwright Street, Granville Island.
