AUDITIONS

Youtheatre will be holding Toronto and Montreal auditions during the week of June 24th, 2002 (location to be confirmed) for a remount of its production of The Seven Ravens, based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, adapted by Kathleen McDonnell.  Last season, the production toured Quebec and Eastern Ontario with several performances at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.

Production dates (Montreal): 

Rehearsals: October 1-18, 2002 (Montreal)

TYA Tour: October 20th - December 21st, 2002
Imperial Theatre (NB) October 20-22, 2002
Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People (Toronto) Nov. 17 - Dec. 1, 2002
School Tour (Montreal) December 3 - 21, 2002

Three performers required:
Mature Father character
Mature Mother character
Little Dove (the daughter)

Ideally all performers should be musical (sing).  The production will incorporate puppetry and masks.  Familiarity with these techniques is appreciated.  

The play will be directed by Youtheatre's Artistic Director Michel Lefebvre.

Equity and non-equity performers may apply.

cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
