ALBERTA BALLET POSITION PROFILE: MARKETING ASSOCIATE

THE POSITION

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing
Associate will provide support in meeting the company's marketing and
communications goals through implementation of designated marketing
activities and initiatives.  The Marketing Associate is responsible for
budget items as assigned and is a member of the marketing and
communications team participating in seasonal planning cycles for the
Ballet.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Marketing Associate will be responsible for:

Providing writing support for the Director of Marketing &
Communications.
Producing Alberta Ballet playbills for all local performances and
touring.
Coordinating the Discover Dance Program in Edmonton and Calgary. 
Coordinating Group Sales for individual performances.
Managing the Company's boutique at all Alberta Ballet performances both
locally and on tour.
Managing expense budgets, and completing final reconciliation's for
Discover Dance and the Boutique for approval by the Director of
Marketing and Communications.
Coordinating the distribution of marketing and communications material
for local performances and touring.
Coordinating the updates on Alberta Ballet's website.
Coordinating trade shows where Alberta Ballet can be showcased.
Producing regular reports on the progress of assigned campaigns. 
Maintaining up to date and accurate records for assigned campaigns.
Working with Alberta Ballet volunteers to enable the success of
marketing and communications activities and events.
Building and maintaining relationships with individuals, businesses,
volunteers, community groups, patrons, donors and the public.
