The du Maurier World Stage Festival, one of Canada's premiere theatre
events, opens its Preview Season on Wednesday, April 3, 2002.

Students, seniors and Canadian Actors Equity Association members can
purchase $20 World Stage Preview tickets on the day of performance,
subject to availability. Student I.D. and Actor's Equity cards must be
shown to pick up tickets.

Opening the festival is a compelling double-bill from England's
celebrated Royal Court Theatre,  Nightsongs and Face to the Wall. Both
plays are directed by the acclaimed Katie Mitchell, whose production of
The Oresteia with Britain's National Theatre was a sell-out sensation at
the last World Stage Festival.
