Odyssey Theatre Company, Ottawa, is inviting Equity members to audition for
a production of Beaumarchais's The Barber of Seville. We are auditioning for
Figaro (principal role, male, 30-45)and Dr Bartholo (principal, male, 45
plus.) Rehearsals begin on June 24, for a July 25 opening and a run ending
August 26. Applicants should have some familiarity with commedia dell'arte,
and understand that rehearsals and performances are in the open air, and the
production requires physical stamina. (Ability to sing and play guitar is an
asset for Figaro.) If you would like to audition, please email Janet Irwin

Friday, May 10 between noon and 6 p.m. at Ryerson Theatre Department on
Gerrard. Odyssey Theatre Company anticipates engaging Equity members under
the applicable Equity contract for this production.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
