The Vancouver Playhouse Theatre Company will be holding Equity Extra
Auditions for Fiddler on the Roof on Monday, June 3, 2002 with Glynis
Leyshon, Artistic Director of The Playhouse, and Lloyd Nicholson, Musical
Director for Fiddler on the Roof.

We are seeking:  an Equity Extra, female, character age ranging from 18-25.

As per Clause 18:16 of the CTA: The function of an "Extra" is to provide
atmosphere and background in a production.  An Extra may speak in omnes (in
unison) and play one-line parts.  An Extra may not perform as a Chorus
Dancer or Chorus Singer.  However, an Extra may perform in limited song and
dance sequences.

For the audition, each performer will be required to perform:
* One song from a Broadway musical (pre 1960)

For piano accompaniment, the performer must provide sheet music.
