Islington Community School, Parks and Recreation is looking for a Performing
Arts Summer Camp Instructor for our summer camp. The instructor must be able
to teach jazz, ballet and hip hop. Acting, gymnastics, singing and any other
performing arts skills will also be an asset. The camp is geared to two
separate age groups, 8-10 and 11-15yrs. Hours are 35+ hours a week Monday
through Friday.

Where  Islington Community School
            44 Cordova Ave. (Islington & Bloor)
            (5 minute walk from Islington Subway.)

When   Monday through Friday from 8:00pm-4:00pm or 9:00pm-5:00pm

Start date Tuesday July 2, 2002 (Mandatory training dates will be prior to
this date. Actual dates TBA).

Duration of program     July 2, 2002 through August 16th, 2002.

Pay rate            $9.63/ hr Co-0rdinator/ Instructor. $7.69 Instructor.

Qualifications    Experience teaching jazz, ballet and hip hop an asset.
Must have ballet, jazz and hip hop background. Experience working with
children an asset. Experience teaching voice and acting an asset. First aid/
CPR an asset. Ability to choreograph combos.

Cut-off date for applicants        Friday June 7th, 2002.
