OPEN CALL AUDITIONS IN OTTAWA

For future replacements for the Canadian Company of MAMMA MIA!     The
Smash Hit Musical

Mamma Mia! features performers of all backgrounds.  We are seeking
strong male and female singers, for characters in their late teens to
early 40's, who move well.  We are also seeking strong hip hop/jazz
dancers, character ages late teens-mid 30's.  Acrobatic skills are a
plus.

SINGING CALL:  Sat. Nov. 23/02.  Sign in between 9:00am and 12:00 noon.

REQUIREMENTS:  Men and women, all ethnicities.  Characters 18-40 yrs. of
age.  Prepare 1 or 2 brief pop songs with sheet music in your key.
Please no musical theatre songs.  A pianist will be provided.  Please
bring a photo (or snapshot) and resume.  No professional experience
required.


DANCE CALL:  Sun. Nov. 24/02.

FEMALE SIGN UP @ 9:00am.  Dancing begins @ 9:15am sharp.

MALE SIGN UP @ 1:15pm.   Dancing begins @ 1:30pm sharp.

REQUIREMENTS:  Character age late teens to mid 30's.  All ethnicities.
Have comfortable clothes to move in.  Bring jazz shoes, sneakers or
character shoes and colourful funky beachwear.  Also prepare one pop
song with sheet music in your key.  Please provide us with a photo (or
snapshot) and resume.  No professional experience required.

LOCATION (FOR ALL AUDITIONS):  The School of Dance, 200 Crichton Street,
Ottawa, Ontario
