SIGN IN BEGINS AT 12:30PM

We are looking for strong classical singers.  Please prepare 16 bars of
one song from the standard Musical Theatre repertoire.  (Rodgers &
Hammerstein, Lerner and Loewe etc.) No Miss Saigon, Rent, Lion King etc.
or pop songs please.  Bring sheet music in the correct key.  An
accompanist will be provided.  Equity artists will be seen first.
Priority will be given to artists from the culturally diverse community.

Seeking the following roles and understudies:

THE KING: Age may be 30's to 40's.  King of Siam.  Asian.  Strong actor,
strong physical presence.  BARITONE (Low C to High E)

LADY THIANG:  Age may be 30's to 40's.  Asian.  Head wife of KING.
MEZZO-SOPRANO(Middle C to High G)

LUN THA:  Age may be 20's to early 30's.  Asian. Emissary from the court
of Burma.  Romantic Lead.  TENOR (Low D to High G)

TUPTIM: Age may be 20's to early 30's.  Asian.  Lover of LUN THA.
Romantic lead.  SOPRANO (Low D to High G)
