AUDITION NOTICE 
During the week of Nov. 18 - 23 (plus a reading Nov. 25) THEATREWORKS
PRODUCTIONS will be producing a workshop with a staged reading of their
new play in development "Gizmette" by Bernadette Jones and Alan Marsh. 

We are looking to cast a female actor/dancer/movement performer for the
title role. A slim build is preferred, and reading in the early twenties
on stage is also a plus. Equity actors preferred. Audition times will be
booked on Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, NOV. 2, 2002. 

Please submit on-line to theatreworks at ca.inter.net OR drop off at EQUITY
SHOWCASE, 651 Dufferin St., Toronto (Monday - Thursday 10:30 a.m. - 3:00
p.m.) The script will also be available to read at Equity Showcase (on
the premises ONLY). The script should take one hour or less to read.
Submissions due by Wednesday, Oct. 30th. 

GIZMETTE: is a robotic companion. She is the latest project and usually
the only company of our lead character Dave. She is a work in progress
and is being programmed for emotional responses and intuitive action
possibilities. She also has vocal capabilities. 

Required for the audition: Please prepare a 1 - 3 minute movement piece
that you feel shows your abilities and imagination to advantage. You may
also be asked to read from the script.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract.
