This Monday, September 30th, the Quebec Drama Federation will present
"Mentoring", a workshop led by Gordon McCall, Artistic and Executive
Director of Montreal's Centaur Theatre. This workshop is presented in
partnership with the Quebec Association for Adult Learning. Deadline to
register is this Friday, Sept. 27th.
About the Workshop:
Mentoring has gained popularity as a form of career development and this
workshop will interest theatre educators, their students, and aspiring
artists who may or may not have received a formal education. Mentors are
instrumental in helping aspiring artists reach their full potential.
How
does one find a mentor? How should a mentor lead a protege?
About the Instructor:
Now in his sixth season as Artistic and Executive Director of Centaur
Theatre Company, Gordon was recently appointed to the Board of Directors
of
The National Theatre School of Canada. For the past twenty-nine years
he
has worked as a director, actor, playwright, screenwriter, educator,
producer, and Artistic Director.
