IN LOVING MEMORY OF JOHN JULIAN, EQUITY MEMBER FROM VANCOUVER

Our beloved friend and colleague, John Juliani, passed away this
morning, August 21, 2003, in Vancouver, BC. 

John was an actor, director, producer, writer and educator. A classicist
by training, an experimentalist by reputation, his career took him
across the country and around the world. His theatre explorations under
the banner of Savage God were internationally recognized. He also was,
at the time of his passing, co-Artistic Director of Opera Breve. A past
National President of the Directors Guild of Canada, he was the current
President of the Union of British Columbia Performers (UBCP/ACTRA). As a
dedicated nationalist he was committed passionately to the development
of performers and writers, as well as being and advocate of the rights
of creative artists in all fields.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
