Theatre Cares Vancouver would like to extend a special ticket price to
members of Equity and the Vancouver Professional Theatre Alliance for "A
Gershwin Valentine," the benefit concert and silent auction at the Arts
Club on Granville Island on February 16.

There is a limited number of tickets available at the special rate of
$20 for any member in good standing with either of these organizations.
Simply call the Arts Club box office at (604) 687-1644, or visit them on
Granville Island before the show date.  Please note that you will have
to present your current ID when you pick up the tickets.

"A Gershwin Valentine" will cap off Vancouver's Theatre Cares Week, with
proceeds going to the Actors' Fund of Canada, AIDS Vancouver, BC Persons
with AIDS Society, and Triage Emergency Services & Care Society.

The silent auction begins at 6:30 pm and features some tremendous
packages, including evenings at the Delta Suites and the Four Seasons,
two passes to the Folk Festival, tickets to Margaret Atwood at the
Writers Festival, original greeting cards by Megan Leitch, gift
certificates to many restaurants, and lots of theatre tickets.  The show
starts at 8:00 and will be hosted by Jay Brazeau and Bernard Cuffling.
Directed by Valerie Easton, the concert includes Vancouver's hottest
talent from both the musical theatre and jazz music scenes.
