Youtheatre will be holding Toronto auditions June 24 & 25, 2003  (exact
location to be confirmed) for its new production Beggar Boy by Greg
MacArthur.


Production dates:Montreal, 10 week contract

Rehearsals: 	October 13th - November 8th, 2003 

TYA School Tour: November 10th - December 20th, 2003 

4 Mature Actors required:

Zac	Angry outcast wanting desperately to fit in, funny and fearless
(convincing as a 10 year-old boy) 

Joe (Zac's Dad)	Hippie, granola, sandle-wearing wood worker (mature
actor in his 30s-40s)

Creaks/Hawk	Actor plays two characters (mature actor in his 30s-40s)

			Creaks: Rickety casket-maker with a heart of
gold
			Hawk: Dangerous, sexy, pusher-dealer, The Man

Diamond	Sparkly, lost, a little bit dangerous (convincing as a 12
year-old girl)

NOTE: Two workshops to take place over the course of the summer in
Montreal.

The play will be directed by Youtheatre\'s Artistic Director, Michel
Lefebvre.

Equity and non-equity performers may apply.
