GENERAL AUDITION NOTICE
-------------------------

Talk Is Free Theatre is a Dora Mavor Moore nominated, artist-driven
company producing seasons in Toronto and Barrie, Ontario. 

In 2004-2005 the company will be producing its 3rd four-play Season in
Barrie. We are currently accepting applications for general auditions
for the 2004-2005 Season to be held in February 2004.
 
TIFT was formed in 2001 with the purpose of serving the emerging artists
by building a company that will showcase their talents and promote their
careers. Given the mission of the company, the season line-up is usually
confirmed after the acting and creative companies are selected,
therefore applicants are encouraged to identify in their cover letter
the roles/scripts that would interest and challenge them if produced.

Please prepare and state one of the following audition categories in
your cover letter:

a) 2 contrasting songs and a comedic monologue of your choice. OR
b) 2 comedic monologues of your choice (one classical, one
contemporary).

* During auditions artists are also encouraged to showcase other talents

AN ACCOMPANIST WILL BE PROVIDED. PLEASE BRING YOUR SHEET MUSIC IN A
BINDER IN THE CORRECT KEY.
