TRIANGLE GALLERY OF VISUAL ARTS - PART-TIME ADMINISTRATOR

The Triangle Gallery of Visual Arts announces the job opening for the
part-time position of Administrator. This position promises to expand
with
anticipated developments underway at the Triangle.

The successful candidate will have experience in the use of computers
and database applications, possess excellent communication skills and
show a
capacity to work collaboratively as well as to undertake work
independently, and to have demonstrated a level of responsibility in
administrative
procedures. Base remuneration is 24 hours/week with additional hours as
required. Regular hours will be on weekdays. The pay rate is currently
$10/hour.

Closing date of this competition is set for October 5, 2003 (or there
about). The position will begin on October 15, with two weeks of
crossover
training.

The job description includes attending to the following:
- membership program coordination
- document collation and filing
- routine office administration and communications
- data entry management for all programs
- fundraising coordination assistance
- working with volunteers
