AUDITION - BIRDLAND THEATRE

BirdLand Theatre is auditioning for the Canadian premiere of Arthur
Miller's The Ride Down Mount Morgan to be presented at The CanStage
Theatre on Berkeley Street Downstairs.

BirdLand Theatre engages members of CAEA and selected artists will be
offered Equity Contract in D category.

Rehearsal Dates: February 8 to March 10, 2004

Performances: March 10 to April 3, 2004

CHARACTERS

Lyman Felt (age 45-60), dynamic and vigorous man who has it all: a
thriving insurance business, fame as a poet, children and two wives is
two different cities.

Theo Felt (age 45-55), Lyman's first wife, conservative, good looking.

Bessie (age 25-35), Lyman's daughter.

Nurse Logan (age 35-45, black), nurse at the hospital.

We will be also looking for one understudy for both Lyman and Tom.
Please note that the roles of Leah and Tom have been cast and are not
posted in this audition call.

Deadline for submissions is November 1, 2003.

Auditions Dates: November 10 and 11, 2003 with callbacks to follow. 

Please prepare two contrasting monologues from the modern American
classics.
