CALL FOR SPONSORS FOR THE ACTORS' FUND OF CANADA

"Dear Colleague,
 
I'm a Toronto-based writer (screenplays, stage plays...) who is defying
common sense and sore muscles by running the Chicago marathon this
Sunday, October 12.  Rather than suffer in solitude, I thought I'd put
my pain to good use and raise money for the Actors' Fund of Canada.
Despite the name, the Actors' Fund lends crucial financial support to a
wide variety of entertainment industry professionals, including
directors, musicians, playwrights, screenwriters and technical
personnel.  Cash crunch?  A landlord breathing down your back?  The Fund
has been instrumental in providing money to many of our colleagues who
have been caught between a rock and a depleted bank account. 
 
I'm looking for some generous souls willing to sponsor my run.  Fifty
cents a mile will set you back a mere $13.00, and you get a tax receipt
