AUDITION NOTICE
St. Lawrence Shakespeare Company

"The Comedy of Errors"
by William Shakespeare

Photos and resumes are now being accepted for consideration for the
Summer 2004 production of " The Comedy of Errors" by William
Shakespeare, to be directed by Guest Director Sonia Ritter.=20

Sonia will be coming to Canada from London England where she works
extensively for The Globe Theatre as Director, Educator and Actress. She
is also founding member of " The Lion's Part", the company specializing
in verse text which Mark Rylance describes as "wonderful".

Rehearsal dates: June 21 to July 10=20
Performance dates: July 12 to July 31

Auditions will be held December 9 and 10th. Call backs will be held in
January.

All auditions, call backs and rehearsals will take place in Prescott,
Ontario. Actors from outside Prescott will have boarding options
available while working on the project.

Actors selected to audition should prepare one monologue from a
Shakespeare play and be prepared to sing an unaccompanied song.

Deadline for applicants December 5, 2003.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
