CALL FOR SUBMISSION - TORONTO

Theatre PANIK is looking to cast an experienced male actor to play a
number of varied roles in a new play by Niki Landau titled
"Territories", directed by Paul Lampert.  The initial engagement is for
a two-week workshop of the play.  The main role is that of a politically
active young man (25 - 35 years old), who is passionate about the
Palestinian cause.  Needs to be able to act comfortably with a
Palestinian accent.  Fluency in Arabic is an asset but not a must.
Other parts to be played by the same actor include: an Israeli man, a
Canadian rabbi, etc.
This workshop will operate under the CAEA Workshops & Readings terms and
conditions.  The workshop has received funding in part from OAC, TAC and
Laidlaw Foundation.

Dates of the workshop:  Feb. 7 - 20, 2005

Auditions/ Interviews will be held in the first week of January 2005
