Opera Ontario and NUMUS inc. are holding auditions for the world
premiere of The Salome Dancer at the Open Ears Festival in April 2005.

The Salome Dancer is an 85-minute chamber opera/multi-media music
theatre work by poet John Sobol and composer Tim Brady for four singers,
six musicians, film and an array of live and pre-recorded video
projections. It is co-produced by Opera Ontario and NUMUS Concerts of
Waterloo, Ontario.

We are presently looking for soprano, tenor and baritone singers to
participate in the world premiere production in April 2005. 

Audition location and times:

Friday February 20, 2004

10 am - 4 pm in Waterloo, Ontario.
Wilfrid Laurier University, Aird Centre, Room 221: 75 University Ave W.
Waterloo ON.

audition. 

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
